Kicking off our bird blog
Welcome to the Hello, Bird! Blog. This blog is written by a couple of bird owners, Erika and Derek, who also run the Hello, Bird! store. At the time of writing this very first blog post, we’re still working on getting our store up and running and hopefully it will be ready in about 3-4 weeks.
Our goal here is to put up stuff about our lives with our two parrots and maybe readers can find something they can apply to their daily lives or just see that they are not alone with their questions as a bird owner. We’re not going to offer training tips (we don’t really train our birds much) or just post clips of funny bird videos (a simple search on YouTube will work for that). We hope this blog is informative, fun and casual. We’ll also announce things relating to our future online store such as new discounts, new products, contests and more.
Stay up to date with Hello, Bird!
We would love if you decided to stay up to date with us, our birds and our store. We’ve setup almost every imagineable way to make it easy for you to stay updated. Hello – I am looking for info about lovebirds. We have a couple of mated lovebirds. They laid 3 eggs in the fall & successfully raised 3 babies over the winter. Now the mama laid 2 eggs 3 weeks ago & 3 more eggs two days ago. There are 5 eggs in her box ranging in age from almost ready to hatch to newly laid. I need advice on what to do!!! I am kind of new at this & want to do what is best for the mama bird. Can you help?
