Poll: When toys get pooped on
It’s inevitable, your bird is going to drop one of their bird toys and eventually poop on it. A perfectly good toy can get accidentally dropped and then smothered. So the question is, what do you do with your poop-covered bird toys?

For me, it really depends on what the toy is made of and the extent of the poopage. If it’s non-porous material, it gets dumped in a cup of Poop-Off to soak and reuse. If it’s porous and I can scrape it clean, it gets reused. However, if it’s porous and still looks gross after my attempt to clean it, it gets dumped. My rule of thumb: If I wouldn’t put it in my mouth after cleaning it, I don’t offer it back to my bird.
